An unofficial expansion for Tiberian Sun

The Second Tiberium War Mod is a free-to-use game utility developed by Ever_Valiant and powered by moddb. This mod was developed for the strategy game Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun. As the dust of the First Tiberian War settles, the world soon finds itself bracing for another war. It features new content materials, all built on the original game engine.

With The Second Tiberium War Mod at your disposal, you can revisit one of the classic entries in the long-standing franchise. You can also check out the Dawn of the Tiberium Age Mod or C&C Tiberian Dawn Redux Mod.

Revisit the classic game, and more

With the content it has, The Second Tiberium War Mod allows you to experience what happens after the story of the base game. The mod features an all-new, original story campaign for players. It follows both the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) and the Brotherhood of Nod, with their respective campaigns further detailing who wins dominion over an Earth in decline.

Its new content includes a lot of new and custom units for both factions. From infantry, vehicles, and even aerial and naval units–you can expect new designs and capabilities that further make the game challenging and enjoyable. There are also additional buildings and technologies that add a new layer to the game. Even the unit icons you see in the interface are visually enhanced.

The only challenge with this mod is also with the custom campaign. Calling it hard would be an understatement. Even playing it in easy difficulty is a challenging experience. Whether a feature or a bug, there’s a set time for you to set up shop then you can expect enemy units to come in swarms. Consider yourself warned, especially if you’ve played the vanilla version.

A welcome improvement to C&C

The Second Tiberium War Mod is a great addition to the rich modding community of the Tiberian Sun. It expands the story for both factions and even offers a new conclusion to the events of the original game. Of course, it also introduces new units, buildings, and technologies that will definitely change the way you play. Its difficulty, however, suggests that it was developed for experienced players. Highly recommended.
